Fenix offers a service for deploying virtual machines (VMs) in a stable and controlled environment. The service is suitable for deploying platform services like the Human Brain Project Collaboratory, image services or neuromorphic computing front-end services.
The document below describes how Fenix VM Models could be defined in a similar manner as Advanced Wireless Services (AWS1). The choice of Fenix VM Models provided by the different Fenix Resource Providers depends on the locally available hardware resources. The way in which hardware resources are allocated is done in a similar manner at the different sites in order to allow for reasonably similar performance of the Fenix VM Models.
