The 17th Fenix Infrastructure Webinar "Federated Resource Management using FURMS" takes place on Wednesday 19 October 2022 at 15:00 CEST. Read all the details below.
Date and Time: Wednesday 19 October 2022, 15:00-16:00 CEST

Speakers: Björn Hagemeier (Forschungszentrum Juelich)
Description: This webinar will present FURMS, the Fenix User and Resource Management service. FURMS allows to allocate compute, storage, and cloud resources within projects at various sites. Resources are provided to the central FURMS instance by the sites. Federation administrators distribute portions of the resources to communities, which in turn distribute them to their projects. Project allocations are mapped at participating sites and thus require an integration of FURMS via site-local agents.
