Fenix AAI presented at the EuroHPC Summit Week 2019

Cristiano Padrin from CINECA presented the Fenix Authentication and Authorisation Infrastructure (AAI) at a workshop during the EuroHPC Summit Week 2019, which took place on 13-17 May, in Poznan, Poland. The workshop occurred on Thursday 16 May at 17:00-19:00 under the title "HPC Ecosystem Workshop: Operational Services". At his presentation titled "Federating services: AAI", Cristiano offered an overview of the Fenix AAI strategy. In particular, he explained the Fenix AAI main principles and High-level components and went on to desrcibe FURMS, the Fenix User Resources Management Service and a relevant use case.

About the EuroHPC Summit Week 2019

The EuroHPC Summit Week 2019 gathered together the main HPC stakeholders in Europe, from technology suppliers and HPC infrastructures to scientific and industrial HPC users, and provided a great opportunity to network and exchange knowledge on various HPC projects and insfrastructure. It was endorsed by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, organised by PRACE, EXDCI-2 and ETP4HPC, and hosted by PRACE’s Polish Member PSNC – Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center. PRACEdays19 was part of the event and similar to previous years, this edition offered a wide variety of workshops covering a number of application areas where supercomputers are key, as well as HPC technologies and infrastructures.
