Fenix at EOSC portal launch

The Fenix infrastructure was presented during the launch of the EOSC portal event in Vienna on November 23, 2018.

This portal, developed by the EOSC-hub, eInfraCentral, EOSCpilot and OpenAIRE-Advance projects funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, brings together multiple service providers to create a hub: a single contact point for European researchers and innovators to discover, access, use and reuse a broad spectrum of resources for advanced data-driven research. It offers a broad access to services supporting researchers in their scientific activities and the collaboration across disciplines and geographical boundaries.

The ICEI (Interactive Computing E-Infrastructure for the Human Brain Project) project was funded by the European Commission under the Framework Partnership Agreement of the Human Brain Project (HBP). In the project five leading European Supercomputing Centres are working together to develop a set of e-infrastructure services that will be federated to form the Fenix Infrastructure.
