ICEI resources and use case presented at the Bernstein conference

22 Sep 2019

In September this year, attendees of the 2019 Bernstein Conference had the opportunity to learn about the ICEI resources and Fenix infrastructure by Petra Ritter, the Head of the Section Brain Simulation at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

Petra Ritter’s talk was titled "Tool: The Virtual Brain" and it was held during a Satellite workshop on the “Brain Circuit Insight: From brain circuit models to brain circuit insights”. This Satellite workshop took place on 17-18 September at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin) in Germany, just before the main conference took off.

As Petra Ritter stated after her presentation, she was “glad to present her Virtual Brain project along with an overview of the ICEI resources and how these are used in the project. This way, the participants not only heard about what the Fenix infrastructure has to offer but were also presented with a real case example of its applications”. The full presentation can be accessed from here.

The Bernstein Conference is the key Computational Neuroscience conference taking place annually in Europe. Attendees from all around the world come together to learn about the latest advances in Computational Neuroscience and Neurotechnology.
